This role will be responsible for developing and executing CBRE’s soft services supply chain strategy across these categories, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class supplier performance, value creation, and innovation, aligned with CBRE’s vision and operational excellence standards.

Working closely with the Supply Chain Performance Director and UK Procurement Director, this role will bring together stakeholders from across our operations, sales and procurement teams to develop a unified programme to ensure our integrated supply chain model continues to deliver market leading solutions for our clients.

Key Activities
  • Develop and execute a soft services supply chain strategy that supports sales, innovation, value creation and operational delivery

  • Engage stakeholders across operations, sales, procurement and other functions to ensure strategy meets business/client requirements

  • Drive engagement with account teams to encourage performance feedback submission for all key soft services providers via our PULSE performance management tool.

  • Analyse supplier performance and escalation data to identify risks and opportunities

  • Drive overall performance improvements across soft services categories, leading on performance management activity for key underperforming suppliers

  • Support account teams to manage performance at an account level , providing training and support as part of our downstream model

  • Support CBRE’s teams to deliver increased margin from soft service

  • Build relationships with strategic partners at operational and senior levels

  • Lead SRM meetings with key partners, engaging relevant stakeholders across key functions to drive growth and identify and implement key innovations

  • Build training materials to support the business to manage soft services partners more effectively.

  • Work with operations teams to drive utilization of these materials

Key Skills Required
  • Proven experience in soft services procurement (cleaning, security, catering and waste)

  • Strong influencing skills, comfortable with working with and managing various stakeholders with differing requirements

  • Experienced in supplier performance and relationship management

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills within soft services.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Understands commercial and contract risk

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical with the ability to use data to drive decision making

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment

  • Takes a collaborative and relationship driven approach with Supplier Partners, seeking to reach mutually beneficial outcomes
