Soft Landscaper - Team Leader

Up to £33,000 per annum

Are you a passionate and experienced Horticulturalist Landscaper ready to lead a team in creating and maintaining stunning outdoor spaces? Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Soft Landscape Team Leader to join a growing division. If you have an eye for detail, a deep knowledge of horticulture, and a commitment to quality, they want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Leading and Mentoring: Directing and motivating a small team of Soft Landscapers, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
  • Project Execution: Overseeing the implementation of soft landscaping projects, including soil preparation, planting of trees, shrubs, and perennial schemes, and turfing.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring all work adheres to design specifications, industry best practices, and the company\'s high standards of quality.
  • Client and Site Management: Communicating effectively with Project Managers, clients, and other contractors on site to address issues and provide updates.
  • Horticultural Expertise: Applying expert knowledge in plant health, soil science, irrigation, and seasonal maintenance techniques.
What You'll Bring
  • Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in soft landscaping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • In-depth knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, and landscape techniques.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • A recognised qualification in Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field (e.g. RHS Level 2/3) is highly desirable.
  • SSSTS as a minimum.
