Position: Sociology Teacher (with optional Humanities teaching)

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

Contract: 0.6 (part-time) or Full-Time Long Term, with potential for a permanent role

Pay: £160 £238 per day (depending on experience)

A Meaningful Role in a Supportive School

We are currently working with a econdary school in central Southampton to appoint a Sociology Teacher from September 2025. This is a long-term position offered on either a 0.6 part-time or full-time basis, with potential for a permanent appointmentfor the right candidate. The contract would start immediately or from January 2026 on a long term contract until July.

The role will focus on GCSE Sociology, with the opportunity to teach additional Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, or PSHE depending on your background and availability.
