Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Sociology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons at a Liverpool secondary school. The role is temporary but long term, with full-time hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, located in Liverpool. Start date as soon as possible, pay to scale.

Ideal candidates hold QTS and a sociology degree, with UK secondary school teaching experience and safeguarding readiness. Right to work in the UK and DBS clearance (or willingness) are required, along with two professional references.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Sociology.
• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Ability to provide two professional references/cover the last 24 months worked

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic educator to teach Sociology at a secondary school in the Liverpool area.
