A local government authority is seeking a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker in Uxbridge, UK. The role involves triaging concerns, conducting assessments, and working with various agencies. We are looking for a Social Worker or Senior Social Worker within Adult Social Care, Single Point of Access (SPA); a busy duty team with a focus on short term and immediate intervention.
We are the point of access for all referrals to adult social care including self referrals and professional referrals. Working with partner agencies such as housing, reablement, safeguarding, mental health etc.
The candidate will have wide knowledge of the Care Act (2014) and Mental Capacity Act (2025), excellent organisational skills and can evidence an ability to work in a fast paced environment and skills around risk assessment and prioritisation.
This role is open to experienced Social Workers at different levels, with salary offered according to assessed experience and qualifications:
