What you will do

• Carry out detailed child and family assessments in safeguarding contexts, ensuring each child’s safety and wellbeing is prioritised.
• Manage a caseload of around 18 cases to deliver high-quality child protection interventions.
• Engage in age-appropriate direct work with children to support their development and emotional health.
• Undertake court work and prepare robust reports for legal proceedings in safeguarding cases.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and external agencies to develop plans that safeguard the health and wellbeing of children.

Main Requirements

• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in safeguarding practices and comprehensive understanding of child protection (CIN, CP, PLO and Court work).
• Proven experience in completing detailed assessments for children and families, including parenting assessments.
