Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker for its Older Adults Team. The role focuses on Care Act assessments, safeguarding, and duty work to promote independence and wellbeing for older adults and their families.

You will join a supportive Adult Social Care service with supervision, development opportunities, and a flexible hybrid working arrangement across office and community settings.

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker for its client’s Older Adults Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Adult Social Care service, working with older adults and their families to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an Adult Social Worker within the Older Adults Team, you will:

• Complete Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning for older adults, ensuring needs are assessed accurately and appropriate services are arranged to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Undertake safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, working collaboratively with service users, families, and partner agencies to investigate concerns and implement safeguarding plans where required.
• Manage a busy duty and case management workload, responding to urgent referrals, providing timely interventions, maintaining accurate case records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local authority procedures.
• Flexible Working Arrangement - Hybrid working opportunities with a mix of office and community-based work, providing flexibility while maintaining close support from the team.
• Diverse & Rewarding Caseload - Opportunity to work with older adults across a varied care management service, undertaking assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and duty work that make a real difference to people's lives.
• Supportive Team Environment - Work within an experienced Adult Social Care team with access to regular supervision, multidisciplinary working, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience within Adult Social Care, ideally working with older adults.
• Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, safeguarding procedures, and relevant social care legislation.
• Strong assessment, risk management, and case management skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
