What you will do:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of clients with learning disabilities to determine their needs and challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each individual, ensuring the highest quality of support.
  • Arrange and coordinate support provision for clients on our waiting list or those transferred from absent colleagues.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the latest legislation and best practice standards.
  • Liaise with other services, relatives and carers to provide holistic care and support.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
  • Recent or current qualified UK Social Work experience.
  • Strong assessment skills with previous experience in working with people with learning disabilities.
  • Desirable skills include local knowledge and experience using Corelogic Mosaic or Framework IT systems.
  • Ability to start as soon as possible.
