A local government authority in Glenfield is seeking a qualified Social Worker to provide support in assessments and risk management while offering flexible working options. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of social work methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively with adults. This role includes a competitive salary range of £39,939 to £42,699 plus an additional market premium payment.
The team is knowledgeable, friendly and supportive, with a wealth of contacts and experience in the extensive LD&A community and provider network within Charnwood. They have weekly Group Supervision Meetings to promote the best possible outcomes for the people we work with. All staff benefit from regular manager supervision, manageable workloads and support from specialist teams within the department (such as finance or legal services). We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments.
