Overview

Haringey is seeking a dedicated Locum Social Worker to join its Independence and Access team. As part of a dynamic and supportive service, you will safeguard individuals at risk, promote independence, and deliver positive outcomes within a diverse community.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a professional social work service to adults at risk of abuse or neglect, ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation.

Lead and coordinate multi-agency Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, adopting a person-centred approach in line with the Care Act.

Develop, implement, and review adult protection plans tailored to individual needs and aspirations.

Collaborate with partner agencies, stakeholders, and professionals to mitigate risks and achieve positive outcomes.

Manage a varied caseload and duty responsibilities efficiently, maintaining accurate records on social care electronic systems.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated safeguarding responses.

Participate in professional supervision and continuous learning to maintain and enhance practice standards.
