Join Derby City Council's Safeguarding Adults Team within Adult Social Care as a Grade K Social Worker. This vital role involves working with vulnerable adults to promote their well‑being, ensure their safety, and uphold their rights under relevant legislation.
👥 Conduct safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014
🧾 Carry out person‑centred assessments, support planning, and reviews
🤝 Work collaboratively with health professionals, families, and partner agencies
📚 Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records
⚖️ Apply professional judgement to manage risk and promote independence
🏢 Are willing and able to work from the Council House, Derby
💸 Are happy to accept the pay rate of up to £31.01/hr (umbrella)
🧓 Understand this is a role within the Safeguarding Adults Team
💻 Are prepared for a formal interview via Microsoft Teams
📅 Can commit to Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm working hours
