About the role

At Dudley MBC we are recruiting for a supervising social worker for our Fostering Service, this is an exciting time for Dudley's Fostering Service as we grow and expand our services provided to our Kinship and Mainstream Foster Carers.

Dudley Fostering Service is dedicated to recruiting and assessing the very best Carers to provide a warm and loving home for our children in care. We are based at Cable Plaza Waterfront in Brierley Hill, Dudley, where we are co-located with the rest of children's services which supports great joint working opportunities. It is essential any applicants clearly specify in their application form which post they are applying for stipulating whether this is for the Assessment or the Supervision and Support Team.

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker for our Supervision and Support Team. You will be fully qualified social worker, with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in statutory social care. With strong skills in report writing, you will be dedicated to improving the lives of children and families within Dudley. Your manager will offer hands on support, regular supervision, guidance, and the opportunity for professional development through training, various opportunities to retain and promote the voice of our foster carers and uphold the Fostering National Minimum Standards.
