Job summary

Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Social Worker Fostering & Adoption to join a local authority's fostering and adoption team on a full-time, two-week contract with potential for extension. The role centers on assessing, supervising, and placing children while supporting foster carers and adoptive families.

You will collaborate with carers, families, and partner agencies to safeguard children and deliver reports for panels and professional meetings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker status (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Proven experience within fostering and/or adoption services.
• Strong assessment and safeguarding skills.
