Key Responsibilities

Manage a complex caseload independently, supported by regular supervision.

Produce clear, evidence-based reports and maintain accurate, confidential records.

Engage effectively with children, families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver tailored support.

Contribute to safeguarding practices, risk management, and family planning meetings.

Promote and uphold equality, diversity, and human rights principles in practice.

Qualified Social Worker with HCPC/Social Work England registration.

Completion of an accredited social work programme.

In-depth knowledge of children's social care legislation, safeguarding protocols, and family support practices.

Proven ability to manage complex workloads and deliver quality interventions.

Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Competitive salary with annual increments up to the top of the pay scale.

Generous annual leave starting at 26 days, rising to 31 days after 5 years’ service (plus bank holidays).

Occupational sick pay: up to 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay after 5 years’ service.
