Position: Social Worker – Duty Team. Specialism: Children’s Services. Location: Nottingham, UK. Salary: £32 per hour. Job Type: Locum. Duration: 3 months.

Step into an engaging opportunity as a Social Worker within our Duty Team in Nottingham. This full-time locum position offers flexibility and a rewarding environment to support children’s services for a minimum duration of three months. The role involves progressing children’s assessments across cases such as Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children Looked After (CLA), taking cases to Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC), contributing to court presentations, and supporting Looked After Children (LAC) reviews with a tactical week on duty and three weeks to follow through with case work.

  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings, including ICPC and LAC reviews, providing your expert insights
  • Prepare for and present cases in court, ensuring the best outcomes for children and families
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to create and implement effective care plans
