Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an experienced social worker to join their children's services. You will hold protected caseloads, work with families, and lead CIN, CP and Court processes, delivering high-quality assessments and reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years UK statutory social work experience.
• Experience in CIN/CP/Court work.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Willing to relocate within 1 hour of an office.
• Experience working for a UK Local Authority desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hold a protected caseload and build relationships with children and families.
• Complete high-quality assessments, plans and s47 enquiries.
• Lead CIN, CP and Court work with confidence.
• Write clear, evidence-based reports for conference & legal proceedings.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
• Participate in reflective supervision and ongoing CPD.
• Act as duty worker on a rota.
