What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive statutory assessments for children and young people, addressing Child in Need and Child Protection cases.
  • Perform direct work with children and their families to create supportive environments tailored to individual needs.
  • Complete Carers Assessments to ensure holistic family support is in place where needed.
  • Cultivate effective case management skills, including accurate documentation, planning, and implementation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored interventions and support.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
  • Maintain current registration with Social Work England.
  • Exhibit significant frontline experience within UK Social Services working as a qualified Social Worker.
  • Completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment ASYE is required.
  • Bring experience in working with children with disabilities and safeguarding to enhance service delivery.
