Ideal candidates will have a Social Work qualification, relevant experience in social care, and strong communication skills. This position offers up to £38.00 per hour with responsibilities including assessments, advocacy, and documentation.

• ASYE completed.
• Experience in multi-agency work & court settings.
• Knowledge of fostering regulations, children's legislation & practice models.

Responsibilities

• Complete robust Kinship & Fostering assessments for Court and Panels.
• Support temporary carers with supervision, guidance & ongoing contact.
• Advocate for children & young people across Devon.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and fostering standards.
• Maintain accurate recording, planning & documentation.

🕘 Mon-Fri | 09 : 00-17 : 00

💷 Up to £38.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Join Devon CC's Kinship Assessment Team, completing high-quality assessments for Court and Fostering Panels, while supporting kinship carers through temporary approval and regular supervision. ✨ Skills & Experience Needed

🎓 Social Work qualification + SWE registration

• ️ ASYE completed
