A local authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified social worker to engage with the community and work within multi-disciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have social work registration and 2 years of relevant experience. This temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for professional development.

Hourly Rate: £23.90 - £25.81
Salary: £43634.06 - £47119.81 per annum (FTE)
Contract Duration: Temporary until 01/05/26 or earlier return of post holder
We are an enthusiastic and friendly team with supportive management and regular supervision. We are looking at new ways of engaging with the community and taking a more preventative approach, e.g.: Community Led Support and Integration with Health.
We are looking for candidates with transferrable skills to be able to work closely with statutory and voluntary teams to provide the best service for service users. You will need to have the highest professional standards, be emotionally mature, have a strong desire to help others and be able to show dignity and respect to all people. Opportunities for further training such as the grow your own social work training and development are available and supported through the supervision process
