Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment and Support Team in Blackpool. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours, providing a competitive rate of £39 per hour. Qualifications

  • Recent experience within a statutory children's social work setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with families, partner agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement Child in Need plans in partnership with families and agencies.
  • Provide Early Help support through effective multi-agency collaboration.
  • Complete Section 7 reports for private family court proceedings.
  • Undertake Section 47 child protection enquiries and prepare families for Initial Child Protection Conferences.
  • Initiate Initial Care Proceedings where necessary to safeguard children.
