Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Worker to join the Assessment & Safeguarding Team in London. The role involves performing Child and Family Assessments, safeguarding case management, and developing plans for Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children.

Direct work with families ensures the child's voice informs decisions. The ideal candidate will hold aSocial Work degree, have SWE registration, and an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work required.
• SWE registration (Social Work England) current.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Child and Family Assessments, including Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries within statutory timescales.
• Manage cases involving safeguarding concerns and child protection investigations.
• Develop and implement outcomes for Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans.
• Complete direct work with children and families, ensuring the voice of the child informs assessment and planning.
