Your Job

Within the framework of legislation and Council policies, you will work with individuals and families to help them resolve personal difficulties, adapt to or change their social environment, and improve their overall quality of life. 🌱🤝

In This Role, You Will:
  1. Assess Needs & Risks
    • Assess the need for social work intervention, including identifying risk and protection needs.
    • Decide on appropriate methods of intervention and advise on suitable services and resources.
  2. Multi-Agency Collaboration
    • Liaise and negotiate with professionals and statutory/voluntary agencies to ensure clients receive the best possible service. 🤝🏢
  3. Manage Workload
    • Manage and monitor your allocated caseload in line with priorities, policy, and statutory responsibilities. 📂
  4. Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records and complete all required administrative tasks. 📝
  5. Supervision & Development
    • Prepare for and participate in supervision sessions and team meetings.
    • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities. 🎓✨
  6. Service Improvement
    • Contribute to service evaluation, development, and innovation by sharing knowledge, skills, and best practice. 💡
  7. Student Support
    • Supervise students where appropriate. 👩🎓👨🎓
