Overview

Gloucestershire County Council is advertising a Social Worker (Adults) role in Gloucestershire. This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week) with a salary of £39,152 - £40,777 per annum plus relocation allowance of up to £8,000. The post is not open to job share. Benefits include free onsite or offsite parking and other listed benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Hospital Discharge and Assessment Team to support adults in need of services and to promote independence and choice for service users.
  • Deliver quality practice and support to ensure people have access to services while enabling them to live as independently as possible.
  • Engage with service users in line with Gloucestershire County Council values and professional standards.
  • Contribute to the team’s objectives and participate in informal discussions with team managers as arranged via the ASC Recruitment contact.

  • Fluent English for a customer-facing role, as required by the Immigration Act 2016.
