About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Social Worker to join the Adult Mental Health Team in Haringey. This locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £38.36 and flexible work arrangements, with the option to work part-time or full-time.

You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality social work interventions, assessments, and care planning for adults experiencing mental health difficulties. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of need, risk, and mental capacity in line with statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualised care and support plans tailored to service user outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated care.
  • Promote recovery, wellbeing, and independence for adults with mental health needs.
  • Apply relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and safeguarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records using electronic systems.
  • Contribute to service development, audits, and the implementation of best practice initiatives.
  • Provide support, advice, and advocacy to service users and their families.
