Job summary

Blackpool Council is seeking an experienced social worker to join our adoption team in Blackpool. You will contribute to adoption and permanency planning, undertake assessments, CPR writing, matching and provide support to families.

We offer a strong salary within the NJC Grade H1/H2 band (£39,481 - £47,665 pro rata), flexible working, manageable caseloads, clear line management and development opportunities. DBS checked, relocation support, and staff benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments for adoption and permanency planning.
  • Prepare CPRs, support matching of children with families.
  • Provide ongoing support to adoptive families and monitor progress.
