Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Worker Reviewing Officer to join the Access & Duty Team in Hackney. The role offers flexibility with Part Time / Full Time options and an hourly rate of £31.00, with ongoing opportunities.

You will provide child-centred reviews, assess risks, and coordinate with multi-agency partners to safeguard children. This position emphasizes strong decision-making and collaboration within Children's Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and timely reviews of children's circumstances, plans, and outcomes, ensuring interventions remain effective and child-centred.
• Engage directly with children, young people and families to understand needs and reflect these in assessments and reviews.
• Analyse changes in family circumstances, assess risk and prioritise children's welfare.
• Respond to new concerns via the Access & Duty team, performing initial risk assessments and safeguarding where needed.
• Collaborate with education, health, police and other partners to coordinate supported actions.
• Maintain accurate records to support statutory responsibilities while managing a caseload.
• Contribute to child protection plans, core groups and multi-agency meetings.
