Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking an Adult's Social Worker to join the Older People's Team in Wales. You will hold a Social Work degree and bring at least two years of post-qualified experience, ideally within community, LD or Locality settings.

The role offers hybrid working, a £35.00 per hour umbrella rate (PAYE options available), and parking nearby with accessible offices. A UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support elderly service users (65+) and those with physical disabilities in a multidisciplinary team.
• Review care packages and help develop pathways aligned with service users' strengths and goals.

Job description

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join an Older People's Team.

About the team

The team supports elderly service users (over the age of 65) and service users with physical disabilities.They are a multidisciplinary setup that conducts unplanned reviews of existing care packages or people who have been referred to the service by the front door team.The team's goal is to ensure that they're working with each service user's strengths, goals, and aspirations to ensure they will find the most appropriate pathway.

About you

You will need a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience within adult's Social Work in order to be considered for this role.Experience within a community, LD or Locality team is all experience that works well with the responsibilities this team deals with.A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred for this role.
