We are currently seeking a dedicated Social Worker - Children's Services for a contract position based in County Hall Preston, with nationwide travel across Lancashire. About the Role

Social Worker - Children's Services: As a Social Worker - Children's Services, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. This contract position offers an exciting chance to work within a dynamic team, providing professional social work services across Lancashire. The role will be based in Preston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans.
  • Provide expert advice and support to families, carers, and other professionals.
  • Maintain detailed case records and comply with statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to promote children's safety and welfare.
  • Participate in reviews and audits as required.
  • Travel across Lancashire as and when required, using your own vehicle (this is an essential car user position).
