Job summary

Barnsley Council is seeking a dynamic, values-driven Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team within Place Health & Adult Social Care. About The Post

We are seeking dynamic, motivated and values-driven Social Workers to join Adult Social Care at a key moment in Barnsley’s journey. As part of our Strategy for Change, we are reshaping services around prevention, strengths-based practice, community solutions and the right support at the right time.

In this role , you will support adults, carers and families to achieve outcomes that matter to them. Working creatively with people , communities and partners, you will promote independence, choice, safety and wellbeing while delivering our statutory responsibilities to a high standard. We are looking for practitioners who are curious, compassionate and confident in using evidence, professional judgement and community assets to improve outcomes.
