Qualifications

• Hold a degree or equivalent in social work with current Social Work England registration.
• Display recent managerial experience, such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager roles.
• Possess significant frontline experience in Children’s Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a dedicated team responsible for the initial assessment and duty functions within Children’s Services.
• Ensure the effective delivery of services that meet statutory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and caseloads of social workers.
• Provide critical oversight and decision-making in complex casework.
• Liaise with partner agencies and stakeholders.
