What you will do
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of social workers to ensure effective service delivery for children and families.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies, ensuring coordinated multi-agency work.
  • Oversee and ensure quality of all documentation and reports related to child protection cases.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvements to ensure service excellence.
  • Provide regular supervision and guidance to staff, developing their skills and competencies in line with best practices.
Requirements of the Team Manager
  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Demonstrable experience in managerial roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
  • Extensive frontline experience in Children’s Services working as a Team Manager.
