Social Worker – Advanced Practitioner within the Locality Team in Northumberland (UK) is an exciting opportunity that’s on offer at £34.37 hourly. The position spans an 8-month period, with the opportunity to apply for other vacant roles within the organisation at the end of this period. What you will do:

• Manage a diverse and complex caseload in children’s safeguarding, utilizing exemplary practice and exercising autonomy.
• Provide direct supervision to staff as directed by the Team Manager and mentor less experienced team members.
• Work within the legal frameworks and procedural guidelines set by Northumberland County Council, ensuring compliance at all levels.
• Collaborate with service users and their families to comprehensively assess needs and deliver tailored services.
• Act as a Practice Educator, supervising student placements and fostering the next generation of social workers.
• Chair meetings under the Signs of Safety framework, including CIN Reviews and Initial Core Groups, driving positive outcomes for children and families.
