Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom seeks a Social Value professional to develop, manage and deliver Social Value delivery plans for clients and project teams, ensuring community involvement in projects. You will promote Social Value services, plan programmes, engage with community partners and stakeholders, and contribute to bid writing and business development.

A relevant qualification in social, environmental or natural science is preferred, with the ability to work across multiple projects,

Qualifications

• Demonstrable industry experience in delivery of social value activities and programmes
• Passion for social impact and ensuring communities have a real say in shaping projects
• Strong technical understanding of the Social Value landscape in England, economic impact, environmental management, corporate responsibility or sustainability
• Commercial awareness and business development skills
• Proactive and confident; able to work collaboratively and independently
• Attention to detail and ability to complete all aspects of work
• Ability to write bids and develop creative social value responses
• Comfortable with multitasking and change
• May require security clearance
• May require proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer for security vetting

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain strong client relationships while promoting Social Value services and other AtkinsRéalis services
• Develop, manage and deliver Social Value delivery plans for clients and project teams
• Plan and run Social Value programmes and activities
• Manage community partners and engage key stakeholders
• Collaborate across the business and with joint venture partners
• Contribute to business development through network building, opportunity identification, bidding and client presentations
• Support procurement and supplier management
• Support supply chain engagement and upskilling
