Job summary

G Hale Group Limited is seeking a Social Value Officer/Manager to join our fast-paced Development Team, reporting to the Head of Development. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, with core hours 9.00 to 14.00 and 33 days annual leave (pro rata and bank holidays).

You will lead targeted recruitment and social value delivery across developments, collaborate with Contracts Managers, and prepare engagement plans, community profiles and reports for clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment

• Strong organisational skills and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work under pressure across multiple projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing targeted recruitment and social value delivery for each development from tender to handover.
• Preparing project-specific recruitment and training plans in line with local demand.
• Creating area profiles for each scheme at tender stage.
• Mapping community-focused engagements to create tangible legacies.
• Marketing and branding; updating website, newsletters and press updates.
• Collation of social value data for client reports and portals.
• Event management within a set budget, including various community events and workshops.
• Liaising with development team for tender content, case studies and website content.
