Job summary

PiLON, part of United Infrastructure, is offering a Social Value Apprenticeship in Bracknell. You will join the Social Value Team to develop skills in community, client and resident engagement, and coordinate local employment and training opportunities.

The apprenticeship includes enrollment on the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner programme with a training partner, supported by remote lessons, materials, and tutor coaching. A DBS check is required before starting.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Mathematics.
• Good IT skills and able to use Microsoft Office packages.
• Good organisation, time management, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Have a full driving licence as travel will be required for this role.
• Must be available to start full-time by January 2027.
• Not eligible if already have an equivalent higher qualification in the occupational area.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of work experience opportunities in line with client commitments.
• Delivery of school engagement including attending careers events and employment-related workshops.
• Preparing case studies for submission to the marketing team.
• Promoting apprenticeship opportunities in partnership with HR and Client/Sub-Contractors.
• Maintaining and updating internal promotional boards with Community activity information.
• Producing monthly reports and quarterly newsletters.
• Supporting planning, preparation and delivery of community events and initiatives.

We are looking for an apprentice to join our Social Value Team where you will develop your skills and experience to enable you to assist the Social Value team with community, client and resident engagement initiatives coupled with coordinating and delivering local employment and training opportunities. * Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting the team with:* Delivery of work experience opportunities in line with our client commitments* Delivery of school engagement including attending careers events and employment related workshops* Preparing case studies for submission to the marketing team* Promoting our apprenticeship opportunities working in partnership with HR and Client’/Sub-Contractors as required* Maintaining and update internal promotional boards, to provide staff with Community activity information* Maintaining a calendar of events that is published internally* Producing documents such as monthly reports, quarterly newsletters* Supporting colleagues in the planning, preparation and delivery of community events and initiativesAs part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitionerapprenticeship qualification with one of our training partners. You will be fully supported through a variety of methods such as remotely taught classroom sessions, learning materials, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach.
