What you will do:

  • Conduct Moving and Handling assessments to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently in their homes and communities, while supporting carers in their role.
  • Provide vital equipment and facilitate both minor and major adaptations, ensuring accessibility for clients.
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and enhance service delivery.
  • Document and report on client progress and interventions, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evolving techniques in Occupational Therapy.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Possess recent UK-based experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally within the NHS.
  • Be a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), maintaining good standing.
