Contract: Locum – 6 Months, Flexible

Social Service Assistant Team Manager – Children with Disabilities Team in Heston earning up to £41.10 per hour on a locum basis for a flexible 6-month contract. Ready for your next adventure? Purpose of the Role

Lead and support our talented team, manage impactful caseloads, and ensure our services meet the highest standards. This is more than just social work; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

What you will do

Provide daily operational leadership and supervision within the Children with Disabilities Team.

Guide social workers with expertise, support, and supervision to ensure a high standard of care.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safeguard vulnerable children effectively.

Oversee assessments, care planning, and reviews to deliver family‑centred interventions.

Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to enhance outcomes for children and families.

Participate in and contribute to team and multi‑agency meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

Previous experience at ATM level within a Children with Disabilities Team.

Competency in LCS and EHM systems is beneficial.

Professional Social Work Qualification with Social Work England registration.

Proven track record in leading a team and experience with complex case management.
