Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons in Psychology, Sociology, or related Social Science subjects.
• Teach across KS4 and KS5, preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities, fostering inclusivity and participation.
• Inspire students to develop analytical thinking, debate ideas, and apply theory to real-world situations.
• Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to help them succeed.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and promote a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and uphold high teaching standards across the department.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, etc.)
• Experience teaching Social Sciences at KS4 and/or KS5
• Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging young minds
