ParentPay Group is seeking a hands‑on, creative, and energetic Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution, with a focus on LinkedIn and YouTube. This role combines content creation, community building, influencer engagement, and lead generation, requiring a professional who can produce high‑impact, visually compelling content with speed and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow and nurture a dynamic social media community of decision‑makers, influencers, and industry professionals in the education industry.
  • Engage proactively with target audiences and decision‑makers, using creative strategies to increase followers, spark meaningful interactions, and generate leads through social media.
  • Act as the voice of ParentPay Group, ensuring all interactions are authentic, professional, and brand‑aligned.
  • Produce high‑quality, engaging content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms.
  • Use design and video editing tools (Adobe Express, Canva, CapCut) to deliver polished, high‑impact content that drives engagement.
  • Comfortably lead interviews and appear on‑camera to bring stories to life; stay in tune with social media trends and best practices and utilise AI tools to enhance content ideation, production, and optimisation.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor organic and paid social campaigns using Oktopost and LinkedIn Ads, driving engagement and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, partners, and internal advocates to amplify reach and align social efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Proven social media expertise – hands‑on experience managing social channels, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, with a strong track record of driving engagement and lead generation.
  • Content creation & design skills – proficient in Adobe Express or Canva, CapCut, and other graphic/video editing tools; able to produce high‑quality static, carousel, and video content quickly and at scale.
  • Confident on‑camera presence – comfortable appearing in videos, conducting interviews, and editing content for maximum engagement.
  • Copywriting proficiency – able to write authentic, engaging, and error‑free social media copy that aligns with brand voice.
  • AI‑savvy – experienced in leveraging AI tools to enhance ideation, creation, and optimisation of social content while maintaining quality.
  • Campaign management – skilled in planning and executing organic and paid social campaigns to drive engagement and results.
  • Analytics & insights – experienced in monitoring social media KPIs and interpreting data to optimise content and campaigns.
  • Social listening – able to track brand mentions and sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Stakeholder management – able to collaborate effectively with internal teams, advocates, partners, and external influencers or agencies.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint – proficient in analysing data and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset – eager to experiment, iterate, and evolve our social strategy as platforms and audiences shift.
