Content First Social Media & Content Manager

The Role
We’re looking for a content-first, strategic second Social Media & Content Manager who doesn’t just “post”—they craft moments.
You’ll be the in-house visual and editorial heartbeat of House of Willow Alexander, responsible for capturing and conveying our unique tone across platforms in a way that builds brand equity, emotional resonance, and commercial value.
This is not a scheduler role. We’re not looking for another Canva carousel factory. You’ll be deeply plugged into the business — from our garden design and interiors team to behind-the-scenes shoots, brand drops, and The Hearth (our lifestyle magazine).
You’ll know what’s happening, and how to translate it content that performs across IG, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn — all while remaining editorial, aesthetic, and on-brand.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- 🎥Create native, scroll-stopping content(Reels, Stories, TikToks, carousels, graphics, interviews, memes, and product features) that build brand awareness and affinity
- 📅Own the monthly and weekly social content calendarin alignment with commercial goals, launches, seasonal rhythms and cultural moments
- ✍️Write witty, intelligent captions and microblogsin our voice — editorial, emotionally intelligent, aesthetically aware and gently humorous
- 🧠Collaborate with the PR/Partnerships Managerto cross-activate influencer and partner campaigns
- 🛠️Edit, style and deliver content across multiple formats, using tools like CapCut, Lightroom, Adobe CS, or Canva Pro
- 🔍Track analytics, interpret what works, and adapt content accordingly with performance insights and platform trends
- 🌿Show up on-site: you’ll regularly be on set, and in the thick of real-life service delivery to capture raw, compelling, in-the-moment content
Who We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years experience in social or content roles within a premium brand(lifestyle, interiors, fashion, or sustainability)
- A maker mentality— you love to produce, write, edit, style and publish at speed without sacrificing beauty or tone
- A deep understanding of brand storytelling — you know the difference between content and communication
- A sharp creative eye and editorial instinctwith understanding of aesthetic composition and emotional narrative
- Comfort behind the lens (iPhone or camera) and confidence with editing tools (CapCut, Lightroom, Adobe CS)
- Up-to-date with Instagram and TikTok trends but not trend-driven— you lead with concept, not mimicry
- Excellent grammar, syntax and spelling — you’re fluent in tone of voice
