We are Dynomite. We believe the video creation process should be straightforward and fun. Based in Nottingham, we focus on building lasting relationships with clients across the UK and Europe. Our team are specialists in video production and animation, working with iconic brands and world-renowned organisations, including Cisco, Box.com, Amadeus, Hillarys, and many more.

We are specialists in crafting films and animations across the full production process, including producing, project management, script writing, set design, editing, animation, camera operation and sound design. If it moves, we make it. There is an art to what we do and we do it well. We take the time to get to know our clients, collaborate as part of their team and surpass expectations, creating content that moves the needle. What we don’t do well is talk about ourselves. This is where you come in. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to tell the world what we do, how we do and create inspirational content that pops in the feed and gets us recognised.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Social Media Manager located in Nottingham. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating and optimising content, managing social media platforms, and engaging with the audience. The role also involves analysing performance metrics, coordinating with teams, and staying updated with the latest social media trends and best practices.

This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll be making, posting, and optimising content every day, while also thinking strategically about how to position Dynomite as a leader in video and animation.

What will make you a great fit
  • Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Previous experience for a minimum of 3 years
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills
  • Editing – knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro to edit all Social Media content
  • Design and creativity - the ability to design your own content, templates and graphics for all social media content
  • Experience in developing and executing Content Strategies
  • Ability to analyse social media metrics and performance
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and MS Office/Google Suite
  • A passion for film and everything motion
Contributing to Client Work

Alongside managing our own channels, you’ll also support client projects by making sure the content we produce is ready to perform on social media. This will involve:

  • Advising on the best ways to create and adapt video and animation for different platforms
  • Optimising content for formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific needs
  • Suggesting ideas for campaign rollouts
  • Sharing insight on trends, audiences, and algorithms to boost performance
  • Reviewing results and recommending improvements

  • Confidence in speaking with clients and offering practical advice
