Social Media Manager (Food Industry)

We're seeking a creative and ambitious Social Media Manager to elevate the online presence of two established and highly respected culinary brands within the UK food industry. This is an exciting, hands‑on position ideal for someone who loves food, storytelling, and building digital communities. You'll oversee day‑to‑day posting, engagement, and content creation across Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms, helping our client connect with food lovers, chefs, and hospitality enthusiasts around the world.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (where applicable).
  • Contribute fresh ideas for reels, stories, and short‑form video concepts.
    Community Management
    • Engage daily with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a friendly, on‑brand tone.
    • Build meaningful interactions with potential customers, including consumers, chefs, influencers, and hospitality professionals.
    • Foster a positive, loyal, and engaged online community for both brands.
    Growth & Insights
    • Support strategies to grow followers, reach, and engagement across platforms.
    • Track and report on performance metrics to guide future content.
    • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and platform updates.
    Brand Support
    • Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity across both brands.
    • Support broader marketing campaigns, events, and collaborations, adapting them for social media.
    Skills & Experience
    Required
    • 1‑3 years of experience managing or supporting social media for a brand, agency, or influencer.
    • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including trends, algorithms, and best practices.
    • Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and visual awareness.
    • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
    • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple brand identities.
    Desirable
    • Experience using LinkedIn for brand or professional storytelling.
    • Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.).
    • A genuine enthusiasm for food, restaurants, and culinary culture.
