Job summary

Modis International Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst/Scientist to join the social media analytics team on a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days on-site and will focus on analysing social media usage and behavioural data to deliver evidence-based insights.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, data product specialists and BI professionals to develop and analyse new data products, using SQL, Python and Databricks to join, clean and model data.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media or behavioural data and turning insights into actions.
• Proficient in SQL, Python and Databricks for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and joining data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends and relationships.
• Work with social media and behavioural data to understand user activity and engagement.
• Extract, clean, transform and join data from multiple sources.
• Develop analytical approaches to assess behavioural patterns and indicators.
• Use SQL, Python and Databricks to manipulate and analyse data.
• Apply analytical and statistical techniques to support project objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
