Social Media Coordinator

Wythall – 3 days office/2 days home

£30,000 - £35,000 doe

We’re excited to be working with this great client with multiple branches across the UK. They’re looking to add a Social Media Coordinator into their digital team.

Due to the location of the office, you’ll need to have your own transport and be happy to travel out to branches occasionally.

They’re looking to develop their social media presence across Meta, You Tube and TikTok to engage with new customers and bring the brand to life through engaging and authentic content, whilst raising the profiles of individual branches to drive footfall.

Responsibilities in the role:
  • Take ownership of the social media content plan, creating engaging organic content and building campaigns across all channels.
  • Be responsible for managing the content calendar for multi-channel campaigns including seasonal content, product launches etc.
  • Work closely with digital agency to plan and deliver paid social campaigns.
  • Take responsibility for developing the strategy for You Tube to drive growth and customer engagement.
  • Manage relationships with influencers, content creators and agencies to ensure all content is relevant and delivers increased engagement and revenue.
  • Stay on top of new trends and carry out competitor research.
Experience needed:
  • Previous experience in a social media content role.
  • An understanding of both organic and paid social media content.
  • Previous experience of developing You Tube as a social channel would be advantageous.
  • Experience of using Canva, Capcut and Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial. Videography experience isn’t required as you will work with an inhouse videographer and the agency when necessary.
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ideally some experience within an eCommerce or bricks and mortar retailer is preferred.
  • Previous experience or an interest in construction, interiors, trade retail etc. would be highly beneficial.
