Job summary

A prominent retailer in the building industry is seeking a skilled content creator to manage social media campaigns, develop engaging content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and support marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media marketing, including executing content strategies and managing brand reputation. This role works 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Create engaging organic content and campaigns across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube), including copywriting, video briefs, and visual storytelling.
  • Support paid social campaigns in partnership with our performance marketing agency, contributing to ad copy, targeting, and creative direction.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy for our YouTube channel to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Manage Google Business Profiles for all store locations to boost visibility and customer interaction.
  • Help maintain a strategic, multi-channel content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal trends, and business objectives, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners-including influencers, content creators, designers, and agencies-to produce compelling content.
  • Stay ahead of industry updates, platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Engage with the Trade community by responding to comments and messages, proactively managing brand reputation.
  • Conduct competitor and trend analysis to inform content strategy and positioning.
  • The contracted hours for this role are 37.5 per week, working Monday to Friday from 8 : 30am - 17 : 00pm.
