Carpenters Workshop Gallery is seeking an experienced and highly creative Social Media & Content Manager to lead and execute the gallery's social media and content strategy across all platforms. The successful candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in social media management within the art, design, or luxury sectors, with proven expertise in organic audience growth, paid campaign management, and content planning. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and strategy - responsible for translating the gallery's artistic programming, brand values, and design ethos into compelling digital narratives that engage global audiences, collectors, and press.
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive bi-annual social media strategy, aligned with CWG's global marketing objectives and rebrand direction.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of CWG's social media channels, including content planning, posting, community engagement, and audience development.
- Lead organic growth initiatives across key platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels), ensuring consistent brand tone, aesthetics, and voice.
- Manage paid social campaigns, including planning, budget allocation, audience targeting, creative briefing, and performance reporting.
- Maintain and circulate a detailed monthly content calendar for approval by the Director of Marketing.
- Monitor and report quarterly analytics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Support the social media strategy for Carpenters Workshop Jewellery (CWJ), ensuring alignment with the overarching brand identity and audience segmentation.
Content Creation & Production
- Lead the content planning and creative development process for all social and marketing materials, in collaboration with the internal content and studio teams.
- Oversee the production of all video, photography, and digital assets, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with gallery programming and brand aesthetics.
- Manage the content team (videographers, photographers, editors, and freelancers) to ensure delivery of world‑class, on‑brand materials.
- Work closely with the Studio team on production logistics for exhibitions, fairs, and special projects.
- Collaborate with the CRM Manager on content coordination for eBlasts and digital campaigns, ensuring synergy between channels.
- Maintain an archive of digital content assets and support the web team in updating online materials.
Events, Partnerships & Campaigns
- Collaborate on the digital amplification of gallery events, fairs, and brand partnerships, ensuring cohesive storytelling across channels.
- Support in the development of partnership proposals and content plans, providing creative direction and digital activation concepts.
- Manage and deliver social media coverage for live events, artist talks, and gallery openings.
- Work cross‑departmentally to ensure integrated content across physical and digital touchpoints.
Marketing Support
- Assist in the creation of public‑facing marketing assets, including press kits, video content, and digital collateral.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all content formats.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in social media and content management within the art, design, or luxury sectors.
- Demonstrable success in growing and engaging online audiences organically and through paid strategies.
- Proven track record in managing social media budgets, paid ad campaigns, and reporting on ROI.
- Excellent copywriting, visual storytelling, and creative direction skills.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, global environment.
