About the Role
As Social Media Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content across all Charles & Ivy channels — from concept through to execution.
You’ll bring creative ideas to life through video, photography, and design — ensuring every piece of content reflects the Charles & Ivy aesthetic and supports our brand storytelling. Working closely with the Social Media Executive, you’ll help translate strategic objectives into scroll-stopping visuals that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the creation and editing of content across all social media channels – primarily focussing on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest but also touching on Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Develop engaging video and photo assets for both organic and paid use.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Executive to bring the content calendar to life — ensuring all content is planned, approved, and scheduled on time.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs, working within established guidelines.
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, shoots, and collaborations.
- Capture behind-the-scenes, UGC-style, and real-time social content at events and product launches.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Executive to ensure all content product by Charles & Ivy partners (influencers etc) follows a clear strategic brief that aligns with the wider brand guidelines and business goals.
- Manage all editing software and tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, etc.) to a high standard.
- Stay across emerging content formats and social trends to keep the brand relevant and engaging.
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in social media content creation or similar creative role.
- Skilled in video editing, photography, and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite / CapCut / Canva).
- Strong understanding of social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.
- Excellent visual eye — able to interpret and elevate brand guidelines.
- Organised and detail‑oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Experience working with lifestyle, interiors, or fashion brands is a plus.
