Job summary

University of Cambridge is seeking a Social Media Assistant to join the Social Media, Video and Photography Team within the Office of External Affairs and Communications (OEAC). You’ll plan, create and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, working with the Head of Social Media and Social Video Manager to craft captions and tell Cambridge stories.

As Social Media Assistant, you\'ll be part of the University of Cambridge\'s Social Media, Video and Photography Team, within the Office of External Affairs and Communications (OEAC).

You\'ll work closely with the Head of Social Media, Social Media Manager and Social Video Manager to plan, create and publish creative content across our channels - from TikTok and Instagram, to LinkedIn and YouTube. Every day will bring something different: one moment you might be crafting captions for a viral post, the next helping to capture the excitement of a groundbreaking discovery, or interviewing students and alumni about their Cambridge life.
