Job Summary

Location: Farringdon, London or remotely in or nearby to Leeds, and onsite at festivals

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager

Contract Type: Fixed term, initially 12 months

Working Hours: 10am – 6pm Mon – Fri. Additional work at festivals which span across weekends and evenings.

Role Description

Festival Republic is the country’s leading festival and events promoter. We are looking for a creative, energetic and self‑motivated individual who has enthusiasm for music events and festivals and would like to work within a busy events company.

The individual will be specifically working in the Marketing Department during the campaigns across some of Festival Republic’s events and initiatives. You will likely work across several events but will have a specific focus on Leeds Festival. You will be required to work onsite at festivals and events which include some evenings and weekends.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
  • A passion for social media and extensive knowledge of all channels including TikTok and Snapchat
  • Familiarity with the Leeds Festival brand and an awareness of its audience and cultural impact
  • Familiarity with the city of Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire area
  • A knowledge of and interest in pop culture, live music, relevant talent and influencers
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience using platforms such as Capcut, Canva or Adobe Creative Suites is advantageous

What The Role Includes
  • Pitch, develop and create social content in line with the festival brand with the aim to grow our audience and ultimately sell tickets
  • Build and maintain a social media strategy for the festival, planning launches and big moments in advance and regularly posting on‑trend content
  • Be ferociously aware of new trends on social media and within the music industry
  • Monitor conversation on all social media platforms and respond to customer queries as needed
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop and implement a content creator marketing strategy
  • Identify new social media platforms and develop audiences there
  • Work onsite at the festival to manage and produce a constant stream of social content, managing a team who will assist in collecting content
  • Regularly report on analytics and trends
  • Attend live shows as requested to capture content for the festival channels
  • Brief in design assets as needed for social media content
  • Liaise with artist management, content creators and internal teams to generate content
  • Occasionally work on site at venues, shows or press days to shoot video content
