A health-focused company in London is looking for a Social Media Assistant for a 3-month contract. We’re looking for a hands‑on Social Media Assistant to help deliver high-quality, fast‑moving content across ZOE’s social channels. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply fluent in short‑form platforms, strong at filming and editing, and energized by storytelling and creating high‑performing, value‑led content that converts.
You will support our Social Media Manager in daily execution, focusing on shoot production, editing, platform scheduling, and rapid content turnaround. The right person thrives in a dynamic, high‑commitment environment, enjoys problem‑solving on the go, and cares deeply about craft and consistency.
This is a 3-month contract, 4 days per week, London‑based, with weekly in‑person shoots.
You’ll work directly with:
ZOE’s Social Media Manager (your manager)
ZOE’s Content team and Creative studio
ZOE expert spokespeople and brand ambassadors during content shoots
Our team moves quickly, values experimentation, and iterates based on data and reaction.
Publish 6–7 high‑quality social posts per week across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
Attend and support regular London‑based shoots, ensuring content is captured efficiently and delivered ready‑to‑edit
Write clear, engaging, and platform‑specific copy, adapting tone of voice for ZOE brand and ZOE spokespeople channels
Edit short‑form content into multiple formats and cutdowns for platform optimisation
Identify and act on reactive or trend‑led content opportunities within 24–48 hours
Help launch and maintain ZOE’s Pinterest channel, populating and maintaining a consistent posting cadence
Maintain clear content organisation systems to ensure workflows run smoothly and assets are easy to access
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to refresh core content franchises and improve engagement performance
Must Haves (Experience)
1–2+ years running or supporting social channels for a brand or creator
Proven experience filming and editing short‑form video content
Experience working on‑set or supporting content shoots
Demonstrated experience launching or growing a social channel
Proven experience writing social‑first copy in distinct tones of voice, including adapting messaging for both brand and individuals
Core Competencies
Strong execution across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest
Proficient in Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Very strong attention to detail and organisation
Clear communicator, able to work with senior stakeholders during shoots
Strong creative judgement and trend awareness
Nice to Have
Interest or experience in nutrition, health, or science communication
Experience with community management
Comfort as a forward‑planner, building systems to scale content output
